OnRobot and Applied Automation unveil collaborative palletiser at PPMA Show

OnRobot, a global leader in collaborative automation, has teamed up with UK-based Applied Automation to launch an off-the-shelf collaborative palletiser tailored for SMEs. This innovative solution offers same-day installation, requires no programming, and can be redeployed in minutes.

“With D:PLOY, we’re simplifying robotic automation beyond just components,” said James Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer at OnRobot. This industry-first platform automates the deployment, operation, and reconfiguration of collaborative applications, addressing key challenges like cost and complexity.

The AA:PAL Palletiser, a joint creation of OnRobot and Applied Automation, is designed to break down barriers to automation for SMEs. David Rowe, owner of Applied Automation, emphasised the product’s affordability and ease of use, making automation accessible to smaller manufacturers.

The solution includes an OnRobot VGP20 gripper, UR20 robot, and D:PLOY software, offering a fully integrated, flexible, and quick-to-deploy system. The partnership leverages Applied Automation’s local expertise to deliver a practical and scalable solution across the UK.

Visit Booth C24 at the PPMA Show from September 23-26 to see the full palletising solution in action and explore how it can enhance your production efficiency.
