After 12 years in Engineering Keith was furloughed and then made redundant in 2020.
This is when he started his chocolate journey!
Keith started the business at home whilst caring for his 3 year old twins. Initially selling chocolates at walking markets that Keith set up to support local businesses, as well as to friends and family. Indulgent Chocolates soon expanded online and began shipping across the UK.
In 2021, with lots of support from family, Indulgent Chocolates shop opened in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Production capacity increased dramatically from the initial 700g machinery to a 12kg continuous tempering machine, capable of producing up to 50kg of tempered chocolate an hour! As well as stocking a large range of chocolates, the shop has seating for customers to enjoy their signature Hot Chocolates, Ice Cream Milkshakes, Prosecco or hot drinks alongside cakes supplied by Keith’s wife and mother.
Specialising in filled slabs, gift boxes and hampers, Indulgent Chocolates also supplies to trade and corporate customers. Managing orders of over 3,000 slabs, Indulgent Chocolates can provide personalised and bespoke event favours along with corporate / employee gifts to suit all budgets.
